Patient Liaison/Collections Specialist

Job Description

The Patient Financial Liaison is the contact responsible for financial inquiries from patients, guarantors, physician offices and various other departments. This position is well versed and experienced in the revenue cycle and the process throughout the life cycle of the patient’s account and the collection of outstanding balances. This role will take every effort to research and resolve the patient responsibility as it is related to incorrect insurance and coordination of benefits, denials related to eligibility and/or benefits exhausted, payment plans and refunds while abiding HIPPA privacy and various office policies and guidelines.
