She attended medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and completed her otolaryngology\/Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Blount is Board Certified and practices general adult and pediatric ENT with special interests in sinus\/allergy disease, endoscopic sinus surgery, pediatric ENT, and thyroid surgery. She is happily married to a songwriter\/musician and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running with her dog, being active in her church, and reading novels with her book club.
