Dr. E. Scott Elledge
Dr. E. Scott Elledge joined ENT Associates of Alabama May 1, 2009 and has been in private practice in the Birmingham area since 1994 with current and previous office locations at Trinity Medical Center (formerly Montclair Baptist), Shelby Baptist Medical Center, and in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Dr. Elledge grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is a college graduate of The University of the South - Sewanee (1981) and a medical school graduate of Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University (1985). Dr. Elledge received a Health Professions Scholarship from the US Army and completed Surgical Internship and Otolaryngology Residency (1991) at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and then served on active duty at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as Chief of Otolaryngology Service until 1994 when he left military service and entered private practice in Birmingham.

Dr. Elledge enjoys both the office based clinical practice of otolaryngology as well as the surgical practice of modern otolaryngology. The ability to see patients of all ages, children and adults, and provide care to the whole families is especially rewarding and unique to our specialty of otolaryngology. Surgical and medical interests include Pediatric ENT, nasal and sinus disorders, and allergy.

Dr. Elledge is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is an active member of the Alabama ENT Society and has served as an officer of the society.

Personal interests include playing basketball and golf, wilderness camping, fishing and antique cars. He is a member of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church, and is married with five children.

Dr. Favrot
Dr Favrot is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He recieved his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1985. He returned to New Orleans and attended Tulane University School of Medicine where he graduated AOA in 1989. He completed his Otolaryngology Residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida in 1995. He finished his training at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he completed his Fellowship in Otology and Neurotology in 1996. He moved to Birmingham at that time joining Drs Turner, Elledge, and Favrot. He enjoys a practice with a blend of Otologic and General Otolaryngologic disorders.

His areas of interest remain the diagnosis and treatment of Hearing loss and Balance disorders AND the the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the skull base. He treats both children and adults; and offers such advanced treatments as Cochlear Implantation and the Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA).

In his time off Dr Favrot enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
